MUSIC: NECESSITY!
Like most people, music is a huge part of my life: when I write, when I teach, when I travel, music pervades just about every aspect of my thoughts. When I'm not writing my own tunes, I try and check out some of my favorite artists. Over the years, we've been fortunate to see artists such as Sade, Blue October (pictured above), a-ha, Barcelona, Gin Blossoms, and Dashboard Confessional. My tastes are all over the place, as you can tell--I even listen to composers such as James Newton Howard (The Village, Snow Falling on Cedars) and Joseph Bishara (Insidious, Sinister).
